Around The Backyard

There was plenty of things for the dogs to get into trouble with while being given their freedom at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Things like neighboring sheep to startle, countless birds to chase, and foreign smells to be rolled in.  Daisy's freedom was short-lived however, and she earned herself a shady spot under the apricot tree hooked to a ten foot cable leash.
I discovered these hungry babes nesting in "Daisy's" apricot tree when I noticed a mother bird constantly attempting to get there from the field.  She kept being chased away by Copper.  He could have reached the nest if he'd really paid much attention - it wasn't far from his reach.  He had no interest in seeing the birds other than he LOVED running from one end of the field to the other chasing them away.
