Their Clinking Bling

Daisy finally has a genuine name tag.  She's always worn a license tag, but we'd never got around to buying one specifically with her name on it.  Copper's name tag is a blue bone, so the kids thought it would be cute for her's to be a pink heart.  Now the tags on her collar clink together and we can hear her all through the house.  Copper was puzzled the first few times he heard it while half-napping... now he cleans it for her.  Adorable!

Yesterday's Sky

It was one hundred eight degrees yesterday, but this was still so beautiful!

And Then There's These Two

He's looking awfully gloomy this week since the kids went back to school.  I didn't even have to coax him into that look... he really is that sad.

Well, she always looks like that.

At least they have each other.

First Day Snapshots

Today's the first day back to school... they were so sad to see summer break come to an end.  Freckle Face is not too thrilled to have Bug "tagging along" to middle school either.  We had a nice little chat about how NOT to be over the top obnoxious and how to be supportive and patient sisters. 

Buggy was asked to please get her hugging and sisterly affection out of her system before they left for the bus together and were seen in "public"... too funny!!
