Over the Easter weekend, we celebrated Freckle Face's 14th birthday with a family and friends outing to the Pima County Fair (more on that to come).  We also played board games, video games, ate junk food and colored eggs together.

I {heart} Just Foolin' Around - That Time Of Year Again

I {heart} Glow Sticks

The kids and I loaded up with the telescope, tripod, camera, sugary treats, some glow sticks and set out into the desert in the Jeep for an evening of SUPER MOON watching.  There were many clouds in the east periodically dampering our moon gazing, so we decided to have a little fun with the glow sticks.  We experimented with several exposure settings and countless designs and patterns... I honestly didn't know what the heck I was doing, we were just winging it.  The kids had a blast!

I {heart} Valentine's Day Cards

They {heart} Shooting Guns

The kids LOVE going out with Military Man to shoot guns with their friends in the desert.  I have many images of all their November weekend fun that I have yet to get through. Things are quite a mess around here with our orders on hold and trying to sort out my medical clearance.  Throw in my photography "busy season" and "family busy season" in there and let's just say, I probably appear to anyone who sees me to be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.  **deep breaths** I'm sure in a couple of weeks things will be settling down a bit around here and I'll be able to post more regularly - with fun pictures to top it off!  Happy Thursday friends, hang in there, it's nearly FRIDAY!!!

I {heart} This Is The One

After months of tough deliberation, I've finally decided on this Manti Temple image that I took earlier this summer to be made into a large wall hanging for our home... choosing was SO HARD, but I didn't want to put it off any longer.  It will be printed this week, then another tough decision will be how it should be mounted and framed...

I {heart} My Mommy 5k

The girls and I ran in our first official 5k race over the weekend for Mother's Day.  It was a nice morning, for AZ standards - but HOT regardless.  I am NOT looking forward to the next 4-5 months of extreme heat.

Freckle Face came in at 34:08 - so proud of her!  Buggy and I were just happy to finish the race.

Handed the camera over to my hubby so he could take some pictures for us.  He was waiting for us at the finish line along with Monkey Boy and an armful of roses - such sweet boys of mine!  There were a number of friends from our stake that ran in the race with their kiddos too.  They all kicked my butt of course :)  

I {heart} Popsicles

Geesh - it's been a short while since my last post, hasn't it?!  I've A LOT to blog about, but finding the time is a bit difficult lately. So, for now - and because it's been awfully HOT here this spring - I'm sharing some pics of the dogs enjoying this lime popsicle together.  I'll be back to the 'blogging scene' soon.  Happy Tuesday all!!!
